Terra Peach is a professional, inclusive tutor who gives private violin, viola, writing, and literature lessons and also offers coaching for self-directed creative projects. Her instructional approach is to guide students through even the most challenging techniques and concepts in a relaxed and pleasant manner. As a creative being, she understands how important it is to have a supportive environment, and encourages all students to do their best while honoring everyone's right to learn at an individual pace.
Currently, Terra travels to teach anywhere in the greater Portland, Oregon metropolitan area, although she will also be offering limited hours at her creative studio in the Bethany neighborhood beginning Summer 2008. In general, Terra is available some weekdays, weeknights, and weekends. She accepts students at all levels who are six years of age or older and specializes in keeping hours available for working adults. Terra celebrates diversity in her studio and is welcoming of students with disabilities. For 2008, individual 60 minute appointments are $40 and 90 minute sessions are $50. A 10% discount is available for purchasing ten lessons in advance.
